I was checking the weather to see if it was going to snow and found out that it is going to be a little warm today. I had heard that it would be warmer, but didn't realize that we had already reached 104 by 11 am. Things are looking up!!

OutlookOn Sunday, we struggled to hit 20 degrees. Today, we're starting the day in the 30s. Warmer this afternoon, with highs back in the 40s. A real treat tomorrow... with sunshine and temperatures close to 50. Then another storm should slide in late Thursday night. After that, a high pressure moves in, bringing some much-needed dry weather. -Grant Weyman, Live 5 Weather HD 1.07.09

Happy Holidays!
There was lots of good food to eat
And fun games to play. Of course, we always put our best face forward!
We had such a good time hanging out with all our nieces and nephews! They are clearly the most fun and their parents are alright too!
The holidays can be a stressful and tiring time when emotions run high
Making sure to get enough sleep is a big help
Despite the craziness, everyone had a good time at one point or another and we all had plenty to eat Ü
Now we have to go back to eating regular food and going back to work. I will be counting down the days to Memorial Day when we can have a day off and celebrate with family again.

Green Eggs and Ham
Last night for dinner we decided to have some of our Christmas ham, but we also wanted to have breakfast so . . . . we had green eggs and ham! It was delicious. We had decided to have ham and eggs on the phone, so when I got home from work I started making dinner. I hadn't told Kelly that we were having green eggs, so when I solicited his help at the last minute to grate some cheese to throw in the eggs, he was very nervous that the eggs were not suitable for consumption. He said "the eggs look kind of green". I was quite happy about that of course, and he was scared. I learned that not only is Green Eggs and Ham a great read (mostly easy words to sound out), but also a great meal. I also learned that giving someone green eggs when they are not expecting it can be amusing as well.
I think anyone who has leftover ham should definitely have this!

Annual Christmas Party
Each year we invite our nieces and nephews on the Summers side over for a Christmas party. This year we ate Mac and Cheese with an upgrade from octodogs to corn dogs. We always watch a Christmas movie and this year we featured Alvin and the Chipmunks, although no one really watched it. This year we decorated gingerbread cookies for the kids to take home - this part of the party may not be repeated seeing as we ended up with white frosting on our green couch and green frosting on our beige carpet. We had a good time and hope the kids did too.

Starting from Scratch
Aaaaaaagggghhhhhhh! So, I am starting from scratch on building up my email contacts. I lost my old email address and all my contact information. Please leave me a comment with your address (if you want me to email you) and I will add it to my new address. If you need to update your address for me it is kmsummers2006@gmail.com . Isn't technology grand?
