Truly Blessed

I have been noticing lately that there are a lot of people out there who are in love with the person they are married to, but they don't necessarily like them. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband who is my very best friend and who I can't seem to get enough of. I love spending time with him and always look forward to the time we have to be together. He treats me so well and does so many nice things for me. I just assumed that that was how it worked for everyone, but apparently not. That is why I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life who I love and like!

Our New Job

They just split our ward and everyone was effectively released from their callings. This worked out really well for us because we were in the nursery. We did, however, get a new job. The great thing is that it is a job we can do together! We are teaching Course 14-15 in Sunday School. We are quite excited about it and look forward to the new challenge.

Que Suerte!

We are so excited! Kelly got an email a couple weeks ago about being able to win a cruise. We thought - yeah right, we will never win. But we did! We get to go on an 8 day cruise to Bermuda. We are way excited about it and can't wait. In case anyone didn't know - we love cruises. We went on a fabulous cruise to the Caribbean for our honeymoon and have wanted to go on another cruise ever since. We never expected to win, but are so happy we did. The year was looking pretty bleak for vacation opportunities, so what a treat. Hopefully, we will get some cute pictures to add to our blog.

Our New House Ü

Our big news lately is that we just bought our first house! It is so cute and we love it. This is a picture of it not too long after we put our sod in. It is so great to have grass to keep all the dirt from blowing into our house. Hopefully, one day soon, we will have some neighbors on our street. We were the first to move in on the street and there are about 4 or 5 houses that are getting really close to being done. It would be great if they were really nice, baked lots of treats to share, and didn't have annoying kids or pets, but hopefully they will at least be nice.

My New Do

So, I got my haircut the other day and decided to have it straightened. I thought it might be fun to see what my hair would look like if it were normal. I was not prepared for the transformation that would take place. I became my sister!! It was crazy how much we looked alike. I never really saw it until now.
