Bath Time

Now that we got rid of that pesky umbilical cord, we get to have baths all the time. Here is Shelby getting ready to get in the bath. I worried that she might not like the bath, but she doesn't mind it at all. She loves to look at all the animals on her bathtub and loves lounging in her bath chair.

This is after the bath, sitting in her towel, and getting dry. It is harder to get dry when she pees all over her towel and on the rug like she did today Ü
Next, we have to get lotioned and then get dressed. When Mom is in charge we usually put on a clean pair of pajamas, when Dad is in charge we have to wear real clothes.
Either way, we love to bath and Shelby smells so good after the lotion!

Usually it's the opposite- mom does the real clothes and dad does the PJ's. That is so Kelly. It makes me laugh!

Your daughter makes me smile... she reminds me so much of my Lacey as a baby. Always looking surprised in her pictures, like she was startled, or like you pinched her just before the picture was taken. It really is just that she has absolutely huge and beautiful eyes! :) They will be one of her best and most commented on features over the next few years. And oh, how I love the smell of lotioned up clean baby!

That is great that she loves her bath- my baby hated his for a long time and would scream. There is nothing better than a nice clean baby with lotion. Love that smell :D

Melanie, she is so stinkin cute! Oh, and I love your recipe spotlight. Brownies from a box and ice cream sound right up my alley!

That tub looks a lot like a swimming pool. She is just chillin in a chair at the pool. She is super cute and already getting so big! They grow so fast.
